Opera Mini 4

This Browser is a representation of everything the mobile internet can and should be it works very well on any java enabled phone. I have been using it for more than one and a half years. I have to say the newest incarnation is the beta version Opera Mini 4 it is amazing as a beta I really cant imagine what it will be like in its final release.

My first day of using it convinced me that i will not be using Opera 3 anymore. It makes it very easy to navigate sites in parallel and filled in gaps in perception as it went along.

In fact the only things that i have to complain about is nothing new with opera mini, when you install this new opera mini it will have no access to you book marks or feeds, if opera would simply make it so that when you try to save your first book mark or subscribe to your first feed opera should sign you to account and sync your bookmarks and feeds, so when you switch to new versions or upgrade old ones you can have consistent info. The second thing is more me than the browser, my muscle memory wants me to push left and right to get the page to go up and down, so i will need to stop doing that.

You must download and try the beta, it will not install over your old opera they can co exist. When you do you will agree with me how visually stunning it is. They must have re-worked the entire rendering engine because it looks beyond amazing.

Genius Types review of Rich Dad, Poor Dad...

Genius Types has a good review of Robert Kiyosaki's 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' for those of you who have never heard of it or those who have heard of it bu think you don't need to read it or have never got a round to reading it maybe reading this article will change your mind.

Time, Life, and Money

This is a perspective piece that will tie into my upcoming 'Deal Blueprint'

Time has several states. Past, Present, and Future. Time by itself is as meaningless as any other fact of reality, but to a living being it can have value.

All objects have a past a present and a future but only living entities can value their past, past present or future

Only intelligent beings value their past. Humans regularly trade portions of their past for money so money is actualy a symbol for a mans life and the value he holds for other individuals

That is why an emplyer no matter what he says always finds his employes less valuable than himself, it is moral to value yourself above others it is not moral to lie to other people and tell them you value them more than you actualy do. but if you want an objective point of view for value just follow the money maybe that is why lee iacocca's claims that his employees were the most important people in the company was proven by the fact that he recived a 1 dollar paycheck and everything else was risidual income from stock in the company. He bet on his people, he said he valued them and showed them by rellying on their productivity.

Ultimately the bromide "Actions speak louder than words" is truly a principle of a moral individual. Because it is results that matter in the real world not intentions, because we must live with the results and not the intentions.

Ron Paul on Steven Colbert I do not support the libertarian party, I do think that Mr. Paul is the lesser of all evils in this race.

My phone will not flash you?

My first though at reading this was that it would be perfect for use in cell phones. If you can get major resolution on two sensors for stereo graphic images hook up the lenses that are deep field (no focus) this would be perfect because all processing could be done post.

Speaking of which i think cell phones need image processing software built into them. Most people who take pictures with their phones never process the images beyond raw capture. I would think it ranges from not having the tools to do so all the way to loss of interest or being over whelmed by the time the photos get to the computer.

Go ahead be my banker.

I thought i would post a link to prosper, its a good site for you to be the banker or for a person to decide if they will lend you money or not. Have a quick look around and see if you like it. I think it is the highest form of capitalism that exists in our world the personal loan taken to the next level with technology. I am honestly surprised that there is no law that prevents something like this from being allowed to exist. Give the government enough time and there will be. As you take the power out of the average mans hands to lend or borrow money, you take the power out of his hands to control his own destiny.

Also by following the link above you and i will both get twenty five dollars towards our prosper accounts.

A sad indictment of capitalism ?

Many elements of this picture are true, a popular bromide says "Every good lie has a bit of truth in it", and while i would say that this is a good representation of the system we live in, i would argue that we do not live in a capitalist system. We live in a system that is a compromise between capitalism and socialism with a large dose of mystical overtones.

In a true capitalist system "A rising tide raises all boats" to quote another bromide. Every bromide becomes a bromide because it rings very true. Capitalism is not a 'Something for nothing', 'Some win at others expense' zero sum game. Capitalism is geometric in its progression. Value creates more value, and consumption of a value is the fuel for the creation of yet more value. Take for example freight that is hauled on long-haul trucks. A driver or a team of two drivers pick-up freight from a shipper and spend fuel, buy food and pay for entertainment while in route to the receiver of the freight. The drivers receive enough compensation to make the payment on the truck, fuel, and meet their expenses. This payment must be added onto the cost of the freight. Consumers pay for this service to receive the products they want and need. In return the consumer works making products and providing services for other people.

Understand that you get out of capitalism what you put into it, and it rewards thoughts that create benefit above all else, but thoughts alone are useless there has to be action taken to bring the thoughts out of mans mind and into the world that he lives in. I have chosen for example as my ultimate goal to provide housing to people, either through sale or rent. I am in the process or rehabbing my first house, I will probably break even on this house because to many mistakes were made in the rehab, but i will gain knowledge and next rehab i do will actually turn a profit.
